Inclusion
Glynne Primary School is committed to Inclusion. Part
of the school’s planning for improvement is to develop cultures,
policies and practices that include all learners. We aim to
engender a sense of community and belonging and to offer new
opportunities to all learners.
We believe that equality of opportunity must be a
reality for every child.
We listen to and take account of parents’ views and
wishes and firmly believe that, by working together, every child can
achieve success. Coffee mornings, informal drop-in sessions and
Individual Education Plan reviews enable parents to become fully
involved in their child’s education and well being.
We consider every teacher and Learning Support
Assistant to be responsible for the well being of children in their
care, although overall management of provision is the responsibility
of Judy Hughes, Inclusion Manager.
